History: During an archaeological dig in a remote mountain valley in the Rockies, Carmella fell into a pit in a cave. At the bottom she found evidence of a long dead civilization which she determined was Pellucidar, and in the rubble she found a magical scepter. The scepter gives her some control over Fire and Earth. Her mother taught her to hate Ted Knight as she was growing up, claiming that Knight had wronged her in a relationship in college. After college, she was a rising star in Archaeology until she published a paper that contradicted one of the older male experts in the field, after which she was almost totally blackballed in the field. Carter and Shierra Hall have reviewed her paper and are publicly verifying her work, and she has learned that Ted never wronged her mother. With her two major reasons for being a villain resolved, she may be considering her future path.
